The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is a
globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity
of financial analysts. It's curriculum develops and reinforces a
fundamental knowledge of investment principles. Three levels of
examination measure a candidate's ability to apply these principles at a
professional level. The CFA exam is administered annually every June in
more than 70 nations worldwide.
To be awarded the CFA charter, a candidate must:
Sequentially pass the Level I, Level II, and Level
III examinations; and
Have at least three years of acceptable
professional experience working in the investment decision-making
process; and
Fulfill CFA Institute membership requirements and apply
concurrently for membership in the CFA Institute and in a CFA
Institute Member Society.
The 2005 CFA Exams were administered on June 4,
2005. The results will be available Late July- Mid August 2005. Level I of the CFA will also be given on December 3, 2005.
